More about Lora

Lora earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton Graduate School and was in private practice for seven years. With the birth of their fourth child, Lora became a full-time mom for the next 18 years. During that time, she was involved in the lives of other moms and women through close friendships, facilitating small groups, and mentoring relationships. Nine years ago, Lora began providing coaching for women and for premarital couples bringing her education, experience and expertise to those areas.

Lora is passionate about being a safe place where grace, empathy, acceptance and truth are offered.  She desires to help women find freedom from lies and shame while guiding women to develop self-compassion and self-acceptance as they discover the essence of who they are.  She hopes that each woman will find a deeper sense of purpose through authentic and meaningful connections in the midst of imperfection.

Lora and her husband, Jeff, make their home in Franklin, Tennessee and are parents of four adult children, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren. Lora and Jeff frequently speak together on topics related to marriage, parenting and the Enneagram. Together, they have co-authored several books including The 50 Fridays Marriage Challenge.

Change is one of the few absolutes in life bringing with it obscurity. Lora has a unique ability to help people in the midst with her presence of peace and insightful wisdom. Using the art of listening and asking questions, she has guided me personally and professionally for over seven years in how to understand and honor my heart while in the season of change and transition. I wish everyone had a “Lora” in their life for we could all use a little night light as we stumble through the fog.
